Becky Spencer is a singer/songwriter whose heart's desire is to see God glorified in her songs, and people changed for eternity. She says, "Singers are a dime a dozen. God doesn't need anymore stars; He already has the bright, morning star in His Son Jesus!"

So why tell you about her winning the award of Inspirational Artist of the Year at the King Cat Christian Music Awards in April, 2007? Only because it opens doors for her to share in more places. "Any honor or award that comes my way is just one more 'crown' to lay at the feet of Jesus. When I get home at the end of the day, I bow my knee to Him, knowing that the only reason I can accomplish anything is by His grace at work in my life."

Becky's music reflects the styles of James Taylor, Carole King, and other early pop/folk influences. She tenderly--and sometimes boldly--shares her heart through her music, including an honest picture of what her journey of faith has been for her through challenges and victories.

As the mother of eight children--four birth and four adopted--she finds being strong for everyone else leaves her knowing she needs God . . . right now, today, all the time. Her acoustic guitar and piano soothingly take the listener to a place of honest reflection and comforting encouragement. More than music, the words to her songs are precious truths to live by. Meet our pianist, violinist, and background vocalist, Joey Yates; our guitarist, Danny Nowlan; our bass player, Cliff Riggs; our drummer, Luke Walcher; and additional vocalists Sara Nowlan and Nathan Spencer. They have all been a Godsend, and we praise Him for the divine connections that led us to invite them to join us as we watched the recording become a reality!
